The plot is located in Athens, Kato Peyki. The building houses the needs of a preschool education center. At first an one floor building was predated at 60’s and then in the mid-80’s due to the establishment of early childhood education center an extension was added, to create similar sites for the prementioned use. In the mid-90s, due to the increasing needs of the station the addition of a floor was necessary with a successful attempt to overlay the roof not to be based in the existing 60’s building, so as to create an event space using the entire volume of the space visible to the gabled roof made of laminated wood. In the elevated level of the extension a space of recreation and relaxation is created. This space communicates with a perforated wooden staircase. This plan gave the ground floor the chance to achieve a better ergonomic layout with modern design and proper functionality. In regard of the yard which is of vital importance for that use is shaped by natural materials of stone and wood. A series of wooden tavla bound a corridor leading into the building. At the right of this corridor a rectangular wooden floor has been built that composes a schematic three squares. Over the three large umbrellas open to shade the space. At the perimeter of this synthesis a bench – stall extends for rest. This composition along with various toys playground construction will complete the trees and the dense vegetation around the courtyards space.
